WATOTO CHILDREN’S VILLAGES

어린이 마을

어린이 마을은 안전, 평화, 교육, 목표 그리고 영적인 활기가 가득한 안식처입니다. 와토토 어린이 마을에는 2세부터 12세까지의 8명의 어린이들이 한 가족이 되어 엄마의 돌봄을 받으며 생활합니다. 어린이들은 와토토 학교에서 양질의 교육을 받습니다. 마을에는 학교 집회, 공동체 행사 및 교회 예배를 위한 커뮤니티 센터가 있습니다. 적절한 건강 관리를 위한 의료 시설도 준비되어 있습니다.

Watoto children’s villages are a haven of security, peace, education, purpose and spiritual vitality. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 are accepted into the villages, where they are cared for by a house mother, and live with 7

other siblings. They attend school and receive a quality education. A community centre for school assemblies, community functions and church services is also a part of the village. A clinic is established to provide adequate health care.

어린이 합창단

어린이 합창단은 1994년부터 와토토의 사절로서 전세계 투어를 진행하고 있습니다. 와토토 어린이 합창단은 아프리카 전통 리듬과 현대 가스펠이 혼합된   음악과 춤으로 와토토의 비전과 사명을 제시합니다. 이 “희망의 콘서트”는 와토토 어린이들이 경험한, 삶을 변화시키는 하나님의 사랑에 대한 살아있는 증거입니다. 이러한 경험은 교육적, 사회적, 감정적, 그리고 영적으로 아이들에게 유익을 가져다 주며, 그들을 미래의 리더로 훈련시키고 준비시키도록 고안되었습니다.

Since 1994, Watoto Children’s Choirs have toured internationally as ambassadors for Watoto. The vision and mission are presented through music and dance, which is an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel and traditional African rhythm.These ‘Concerts of Hope’ are a lively demonstration of the life-changing love of God experienced by the children of Watoto.

The experience benefits the children academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually and is designed to train and equip them as future leaders.

어린이들을 한꺼번에 많은 아이를 수용하는 고아원이 아닌, 안락한 가족적 분위기에서 양육하는 일을 철저히 실행합니다. 어린이들은 하나의 가정으로 구성된  와토토 공동체 안의 한 가정에 속하게 됩니다. 함께하게 된 아이들과 평생 가족으로 살아가게 됩니다. 또한 각 어린이들은 성공적인 삶을 위한 종합적인 돌봄을 받을 수 있도록 여러 후원자로부터 지원을 받습니다.

Watoto is strongly committed to placing children in a safe family environment rather than in large institutional orphanages. They become part of a family unit in the Watoto community living in individual homes. Each child remains part of their new family for life. A sponsored individual has multiple sponsors in order to provide the comprehensive care required to equip them for success in life.

Your sponsorship of a boy or girl helps to provide all-round care for an orphaned or vulnerable child. This includes a home, food, clothing, education, medical and spiritual care.

BABY WATOTO

와토토

세에서 2세의 고아나 버려진 유아들은 베이비 와토토로 보내지게 됩니다. 이곳에서 적절한 돌봄과 의료 지원을 받게 되며 사랑으로 보살핌을 받게 됩니다. 여러분의 후원금은 특정 아이에게 혜택이 가는 것이 아니라, 베이비 와토토에서 보살핌을 받는 모든 아기들에게 혜택이 주어집니다.

Orphaned or abandoned babies 0-2 are brought into Baby Watoto and given proper care, medical support and a loving environment. Your sponsorship is not for a specific child, but for all of the babies in the care of Baby Watoto.

LIVING HOPE

소망

산 소망”은 HIV 양성반응 또는 반군으로부터 납치된 후 버려진, 힘 없고 외로운 취약계층의 여성들의 자존감을 회복시킵니다. 이 일은 영적인 제자도, 삶의 질의 향상, HIV/AIDS치료 등을 위한 의료 지원, 소액 대출을 통한 수입 창출 등을 통해 이루어집니다. 여러분의 산 소망 후원금은 특정 개인을 위한 것이 아니라, “산 소망” 프로젝트에 참여중인 모든 여성들이 공유하게 됩니다.

Living Hope restores dignity to vulnerable women - most of whom are HIV+, returnees from abduction with the rebel army and left desolate and helpless. This is achieved through spiritual discipleship, improved quality of life, medical intervention including HIV/AIDS care, empowerment and income generating projects through microfinance loans. Your Living Hope sponsorship is not for an individual; all the women in the programme share in the benefit.

아프리카를 방문하여 와토토의 사역을 경험하실 수 있습니다. 우간다를 방문하는 모든 분들을 환영하며 감사 드립니다. 당신은 마을 건설을 도움으로, 그리고 의료 팀 혹은 특정 사역 팀의 일원으로 섬김을 통해 와토토 사역에 참여하실 수 있습니다. 방문하시는 개인, 교회, 그룹이나 단체들은 각자가 참여하기로 선택한 프로젝트를 위해 필요한 자금을 직접 모금하여야 합니다. 단기는 물론 장기 자원봉사자로도 참여할 수 있습니다.

You can visit Africa and experience the work of Watoto firsthand. Visitors to Uganda are welcomeand appreciated. You can get involved by helping to build a village, serve as part of a medical team or participate in a ministry team. Each person, church, group or organisation raises the funds for the project they choose to participate in. Short and long term volunteer opportunities are also available.
